Presbyterian Church to Consider
Divestment This Week

In 2004 the Presbyterian Church USA General Meeting issued a mild statement on the Palestinian situation, but said it would study whether to divest from companies doing business with Israel. This brought out a ferocious response from the Zionists and demands that they drop the whole idea. On Thursday, June 15 the Church meets in Alabama and is under great pressure to withdraw it resolution.
