Gideon Levy in the Israeli paper Haaretz reports that Israeli Defence Forces shot a pregnant woman in Nablus killing her unborn baby. The woman, Maha Katouni, 30, was in the seventh month of her pregnancy and was in her home and had just gotten up to look after her children after hearing shooting. She lies in Rafidiya hosptial which Levy describes as "practically deserted, barely functioning" because the hospitals are not paid because of the boycott of the Palestinian Authority.
