Benny Morris a Bigot

To the Editor:

I am amazed that the Times would select Benny Morris to write on Sharon's Legacy. Benny Morris is a bigot who was quoted in an Israeli newspaper as saying "There are circumstances in history that justify ethnic cleansing. That is what Zionism faced. A Jewish state would not have come into being without the uprooting of 700,000 Palestinians. Therefore it was necessary to uproot them. . . It was necessary to cleanse the hinterland and cleanse the border areas and cleanse the main roads.". Sharon's legacy is better written by a Palestinian or a Lebanese who suffered so much at his bloody hands.
